[Badminton Training] Jump swing, suitable for strating .
The jump swing is an advanced version of the standing swing. With this skill, you will be able to hit a higher strike when the shuttlecock comes. A high hitting point helps reduce errors and increases your swing power.
The power of jump swing is generated by pedaling force from lower limbs. This requires better coordination of the body. Therefore, we recommend that practice this skill after mastering the standing swing~
Technique
First, find the two close sidelines of the field and step on one line each.
Step on the front line with your left foot, and step on the back line with your right foot (reverse the foot for left-hander).
Before the jump, lift your left foot off the ground, slightly bend your right knee, and squat with one foot. And lean your upper body back.
When jumping, the right foot pushes upwards with one leg, and the body turns from the side to the front in the air. Ensure that your body is at the full stretch vertically.
Note that the arm swing is done in the air; don't arm swing after the left foot hits the ground.
When landed, the left foot will land first and then the right foot. The two feet cannot land simultaneously.
